I am a 58 year old disabled father who is about to be evicted from my home that I share with my 12 year old son. I have done everything that I can possibly do to remedy this situation before I have to appear in court and probably end up on the street. I am two months behine in rent, but unable to raise that amount before eviction. I have a house full of furniture and belongings and because I am disabled I won't even be able to move it if I have to leave. This all came about due to unexpected emergency expenses, and when you are on disability an unexpected emergency can wipe you out, which it did. I hope and pray that there is someone or some agency out there who can assist me in keeping my home. Any advice will be greatly appreciated as we are down to just days now before being homeless.
